
QuickBooks Compatible Business Software and Consulting
All CCRSoftware products that integrate with QuickBooks work with the US versions of QuickBooks® Pro/Premier 2011 and Enterprise 11.0. If you have an older version check the requirements information on the product information page. For Canadian and other non-US versions see the notes below
The most current versions of our products will run on Windows 7 (as welll as Windows XP and Windows Vista) as long as you have a copy of QuickBooks that is officially supported on that version of Windows. For example, you must have QuickBooks 2010 or later if you are working with Windows 7. Please Note that you must have UAC (User Account Control) enabled in Windows 7 and Windows Vista for our products to run. QuickBooks specifies that UAC is required to be able to use all features, and QuickBooks integrated applications all require this feature.
Our current products support the 64 bit version of Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
We expect that our products will remain compatible with future releases of QuickBooks, although we cannot guarantee that. Intuit has been very careful to design the programming interface to QuickBooks so that if you follow their guidelines, a program that works with a current version should remain compatible with future versions. We follow those guidelines VERY carefully. As an example, when we released a product based on the 2005 version of QuickBooks, it continued to work without requiring any modifications with the 2006 and later versions, even though there were massive internal changes to the QuickBooks database. So, we expect that all of our products will remain compatible with future releases of QuickBooks. We cannot guarantee this ourselves, however, as we cannot control what Intuit does with QuickBooks when new releases come out. At this time it is their stated policy to maintain "forward" compatibility.
All CCRSoftware programs require the Microsoft .NET Framework to be installed. Some products require different versions of the .NET Framework. When you run one of our installation programs it will check to see if the proper version is installed, and if it isn't the installer will add it for you.
There are many different national versions of QuickBooks - US, Canadian, United Kingdom, Australian and others. Some are versions of the US product that were "spun off" many years ago and are quite different than the US version. Some versions are much more closely related to the US version, but that gets complicated.
CCRSoftware products will only work with the US and some Canadian, UK and Australian editions. If you have any other national edition our products will not be compatible. If you have a non-US edition the best recommendation is to try a demo copy of our program to see if it will work for you.
