QuickBooks® Setup

After you have run the installation wizard and have selected the options you will have some features to set up in QuickBooks® itself. These changes cannot be performed by the installation wizard.

Many of the features require that you use “custom fields”. The custom fields must be added to the template of the form that you are using – at least to the “screen” version (you don’t need to add it to both the screen and print version). Note that the calculations will usually only work if you have created the order using the modified template – going back to existing orders and changing the template might not set the custom fields up properly.

We’ll give examples here for two of the features – total weight and total quantity.
