ReorderPoint / ReorderBuildPoint

We use both of these names for the same value in different reports.

In QuickBooks you can define a reorder point for an Inventory Part item. This is essentially a minimum stocking level for the item, and if your quantity on hand falls below this point some QuickBooks inventory reports will flag this item.

Inventory Assembly items, on the other hand, have a build point. It’s not clear why they have this, as it is not used in any reports. Conceptually it should be the same as the reorder point for inventory parts – a minimum stocking point that should flag an item if you need to build more. However, QuickBooks ignores this field.

In CCRQBOM we use either the ReorderPoint or ReorderBuildPoint field to show the appropriate value for the item. If the item is an inventory part, the value shows the reorder point. If the item is an inventory assembly, the value shows the rebuild point.
