Creating your own report

You can create your own report based on the where used data. In the main CCRQBOM menu, select Forms and then Where Used.

From the edit reports window click on the report to start with (only one will show the first time) and click edit.

The report designer is described in detail in the CCRQBOM manual.

In the field list tab you will find a listing of the fields. We recommend that you use the ComponentData section, not the AssemblyData section.

The first level of fields under ComponentData represent the component items. In that section you will see ComponentData_AssemblyData, which contains the fields for the assemblies associated with the components.

In the initial report there are several sections. The Detail section is where you would normally place fields that relate to the component. The DetailReport section relates to the assemblies that are a part of the component – you would place your fields in the Detail1 section.
