CCRQBOM Reports

CCRQBOM produces a number of reports, and you have the ability to modify these reports with the Report Designer that we describe in another chapter. In this chapter we will discuss some specific features of the reports in CCRQBOM. We assume that you have reviewed the Report Designer chapter.

Each of the reports that you find in CCRQBOM has a “report template” that controls how the report is formatted. We provide you with a way to make copies of these report templates that you can modify to fit your needs. You can add or delete columns, change headings, rearrange fields, and more.

When you select Forms from the main menu, you see a menu that lists the general classes of reports in the program:

When you select one of these options the program opens the Edit Reports window. This is similar to the Print Reports window that you have seen before.

The “built in” reports show first, and if you create any new reports they will be listed at the bottom. “Multi Level BOM” is a built in report in this example, “Weld BOM” is a customized report.

After you make your changes click on the Save or Save As options to save your modified report. If you are editing one of the built in reports you can only use the Save As option. In this case you will be asked for a name for the report.

This report will be saved in the shared directory that you established when you installed this program, so that all users can access it.
